what does a toner, moisterizer, facial washes, cleanser %26amp; scrubs do indivisuallyWhat does all thse facial products do?
Facial washes, which would be used first in this lineup, are used to cleanse the face. There are many types that are specifically designed for each skin type (you wouldn't use a wash that was for acne or oily skin on sensitive skin because it might be too rough). A cleanser is the same as a facial wash (just another name for it) A scrub (or exfoliant) would be used next in your routine. This helps shed dead skin. It is important to do so because as we age, the rate that you do this naturally really slows down. It is important because it will improve the look of your skin or in the cases of congested skin, exfoliating will help the debris work itself out of the skin. Manual scrubs can sometimes be harsh for most skin type. Do not use this kind on acne skin. The only skin that this should be used on is oily skin. Stick with a chemical exfoliant instead. There are some that can even be used daily. A toner can give the skin a quick pick-me-up but can be used to help penetrate the moisturizer deeper into the skin. After toning comes the moisturizer. Like the washes, this comes in several varieties for different skin types. Pick the one that is right for you. The last step, that tends to be forgotten but is really the most important step is SUNSCREEN!!! An SPF of at least 15 should be used everyday and reapplied often (every 2-4 hours). 90% of visual aging to the skin is because of the sun and other environmental dangers.
Hope this helped you out.
