Do facial products have an expiration date?

As far as makeup, scrubs, moisturizers, astringents, lotions etc. How long are they good for?Do facial products have an expiration date?
I've had some for like 8 years. I think when they start to smell bad (creams often do) or when there's a layer of water or oil appearing on top, you shouldn't use them anymore. Or if they start giving you a rash of course.

The date on the back is just the date before which the manufacturer guarantees the quality of the product. Quality may deminish after that date.

BTW, if you wanna keep your make-up longer, store it in the fridge. Just not the freezer.Do facial products have an expiration date?
There will be a little symbol of an opened container with 'x'M on it. The number tells you how many months it will last after it is opened. Anything that lasts longer than 2 years opened, I believe, doesn't have to have that symbol on it.
Mostly all of them do. There should be something on the back that tells you. Eg: 12m 6m, 24m etc.

This tells you how many months they are good for so for example - 12m equals 12 months.

Hope that helps x
