Are Mary Kay facial products bad for your face?

I use the Velocity facial cleanser and moisturizer, and freshener and my friends mom, who sells Mary Kay, says their facial products aren't good for your skin. I do have a fair bit of acne, but I am a teenager, and I've used other products, that haven't made too much of a difference.


So, just wondering, if you've used Mary Kay facial products, did they give you skin problems? Thanks!Are Mary Kay facial products bad for your face?
I use the Velocity facial cleanser and moisturizer too and it really helps my acne alot but i also use mary kay acne treatment at night. Every ones skin is different so if it is not working for you try something else.





P.S. I have tryed so many face products (Neutrogena,Aveeno, Clean %26amp; Clear, Noxzema.) and I always come back to marykay and it works great.Are Mary Kay facial products bad for your face?
Not quite sure i understand why someone who sell the product is saying it is not good for you skin she sold not be selling it if that is what she believe. sorry just a personal opinion couldn't sell something I didn't believe in. I would be turned off if someone told me it want good for me skin Love to know what she meant

Perhaps it just isn't right for your skin and she could recommend something else??? Velocity does have a bit of fragrant in it so some people can't use it. Mary Kay also has a blemish control line perhaps she could let you try that one.
Well, I think I read that someone said everybody's skin is different so one product may work for you while it may not work for another. However, I can tell you that I do use Mary Kay's Time Wise cleanser and moisturizer and I love them. They are so mild, they don't make my face break out more. The moisturizer is the best facial lotion that I've ever used (including anything by Burt's Bees which I still love). I don't think they're bad for your face at all. You just may need something stronger or some other product. Acne treatments are trial and error.
Idk if they are bad for your skin as much as they are cheaply made so they can irritate your skin especially if you have acne, use proactive, it really works!! ^__^
I have a gay friend and he always says me Mary Kay's products work very good and clean a lot your face
