Which acne products and face cleansers to you perfer and think work well?Which facial cleansers/acne products are the best?
It depends on what your skin type is. I have combo skin so I use Cetaphil for normal to oily skin. It works really well. Also, make sure to moisturize after cleansing. I use Cetaphil SPF 15.
I also use Clean and Clear morning burst. It actually works pretty well for me. It makes my skin feel very clean, but that's just me.
Proactiv never really worked for me. I used it for about a year and it did absolutely nothing. So I don't really recommend it, but remember - what works for me might not work for you ;)
Hope that helped!

What makeup/products can you use to make your facial skin look radiant and cover up freckles?
And is something you can buy at a drugstore? What makeup/products can you use to make your facial skin look radiant and cover up freckles?
This is straight from Bobby Brown's Makeup Manual. It's a great book- and Bobby Brown is an amazing makeup artist. She is my idol!
';Rather than using heavy foundation to conceal freckles, let them show through. Use a tinted moisturizer that evens out the skin tone, and consider a bronzer to finish.';
I recommend using Mary Kay's tinted moisturizer, and L'Oreal HIP Vibrant Shimmer Bronzing Powder. I like them both together. I have freckles too, and trying to cover them up never really worked for me.
Once you get older, if you still hate your freckles, and they haven't gone away, there are some lazer treatments you can have done. But for now, I recomend embracing your freckles, nothing really works to cover them completely. What makeup/products can you use to make your facial skin look radiant and cover up freckles?
bareminerals for foundation. they also have a consealour but you'd waste it all caking it on freckles and it'd run out fast, trust me i know I've tried.
I cover mine up using revoln consealour. I put it on with the stick it comes with let that dry for a minute. and THEN i rub it in after so it's more sticker. then cover it up with bareminerals.
the revoln consealours come in a set of two for like $6?
the bareminerals foundations idk how much it cost individual but if you can't find it alone, get everyday mineral in your shade. it doesn't work AS good but it stil works amazing.
you can get those at walgreens, target, pink n save ect.
Mineral foundation like Maybelline, Bare Minerals or Everyday Minerals. they give a really light covering without looking cakey
And I wouldnt recommend trying to cover freckles, they're a natural part of your skin and in my opinion make a girl look natural and radiant.
foundation %26amp; concealer. try maybelline mineral power make up. if your skin is dry, you should use the liquid foundation. but if your skin is oily you should stick with the powder one.
and why would you want to cover up freckles? they're CUTE! lol
good luck.
bare minerals or sheer cover (they are more expensive but look the most natural)
you could try using Maybelline mineral power collection or Covergirl TRUblend collection.
(personally i love freckles :] )
true blend has some good kinds and it matches your natural shade but also i would try some tinted moisturizer that will make you look really radiant and fantastic!!
max factor natural minerals sheer cover but it can be very expensive
sheer cover
bare naturals
those things you put on your cheeks and it has to be in dark colorsmyspace commentes

What products do i need for a facial?
I am a salon professional and did not keep my book from school. But what i need is what products do i need to do the facial. I know how to do everything else but what products do i need to have a successful facial. What products do i need for a facial?
A variety of cleansers, scrubs, masks, toners, and moisturizers to suit different skin types. Cotton Swabs/balls, brushes (to spread mask), towels and washcloths, a steamer, magnifying light to examine client's skin, extraction tools. Maybe some essential oils and lotions if you give an arm or leg massage while mask is setting.
edit- the salon you work in should have a standard procedure, or number of procedures if they offer different types of facials. Can't you check with them? Procedure can vary between salons. What products do i need for a facial?

Has anyone tried the AVANI Skin Renewal Facial Peel or other Dead Sea products? Does it work?
Just wanted to read some personal reviews of the product. Is it worth buying? Does it harm the skin or have any negative effects?Has anyone tried the AVANI Skin Renewal Facial Peel or other Dead Sea products? Does it work?
Hey I don't have any personal experience of using AVANI skin cream.
But I would suggest you to use this skin renewal cream from CastleBaths, I am using this cream for number of years and it's really amazing.

Is it worth it to buy makeup and facial products from department stores? Or are drugstores just as good?
Pricier makeups don't make them any better. Just because they have a popular name and a lot of advertising. Or because someone famous uses it.
Go with the cheaper ones and just keep trying until you find something that works for you.Is it worth it to buy makeup and facial products from department stores? Or are drugstores just as good?
Drugstores are typically just as good. Often the ingredients are similar or the same, but the company is able to mark the product up due to the name.Is it worth it to buy makeup and facial products from department stores? Or are drugstores just as good?
Whatever works for you. Prices don't really matter...the drugstore brands like covergirl, maybelline, neutrogena are just as good....personally for foundation i like maybelline, don't even use concealer or anything from wet n wild i was breaking out like crazy...for powder i like physicians formula..there just as good as any chanel product. as long as you know how to use it, you can still have a flawless looking glowy look.
I found a great skin care product that was developed by a plastic surgeon from Beverly Hills. He had a child with severe burns and came up with this product to help his child鈥檚 skin. It is reasonably priced and is the same quality you would get from a dermatologist, or an aestheticians office! Learn more about it here: http://TinyWebLink.com/?pid=1478690
I hope you like it as much as I do!
depends on the product and your skin
Makeup expires at the same rate, department or drugstore so buy what you can afford to replace when its needed.
Drugstore are just as good, and it should b cheaper. Look 4 a Wal-mart.
Some products from the department store are better than other products from the drugstore. But I say if you are on a budget then drugstore products are great! Covergirl works really good! It is from the drugstore. I love Clinique though! All works fine for me!! That is the point I am trying to make!
Drugstores are just as good. I have an acne-prone face, but I get all my makeup at Walgreens. Physician's Formula is great, b/c it's talc free, and less harsh for your skin. And, drugstores usually have a larger selection of more affordable items, so you can try out stuff and see what works for you.
Personally, I've had better experiences over the years with department store brands- you can feel where those extra pennies go when you put something on...it just looks and feels better. I reccomend Clinique- they make great products, and their prices on many items aren't that much higher than products by Neutrogena.
I think you need to read about the ingredients in the brands you are considering. Mineral oil is something that comes in a lot of make-up - it's a cheap filler and you are paying for it. While there is nothing wrong with it, I avoid it because it acts a bit like saran wrap on your face. As an experiment, buy a small thing of mineral oil - put a cracker in it - after 30 minutes, the cracker still snaps like it's new - yuck! Many ingredients also use tallow or tallow derivatives (this is a polite way of saying animal products and by-products). I am at an age now where I am really paying attention to what I put on my body and skin. I use products from Arbonne - they are botanically based and great for my skin. Whatever you decide, research what is in them!
it's the same product- just different stores.

What are the best products or ways to cover facial blemishes such as scars or sores?
Start with a slightly green-tinted foundation base (you can find this at most cosmetic counters or beauty supply stores, or at photography make-up suppliers), then proceed with your regular foundation; cover with loose powder (pressed powder will cling to bumps, making them MORE noticeable) before applying brush and eye make-up. That should work. What are the best products or ways to cover facial blemishes such as scars or sores?
I love the Neutrogena skin-clearing concealer. It stays on all day and has medication in it to treat acne.
Also, use SPF on a daily basis. Sun exposure makes scars and red spots much more noticeable. What are the best products or ways to cover facial blemishes such as scars or sores?
you can always get rid of them with a whitening/ bleaching cream. but the other alternative would be to use a good concealer or foundation =]
Try mineral makeup! Though it is gentle and beneficial to skin, it also works great as a coverup for blemishes be it scars, acnes even dark undereye cirlces.
Alternatively, if normal makeup is more for you, then opt for a concealer, preferably a cream based one as it provides a much better coverage than liquid. MAC has great concealer, maybe you will like to check it out.
As for fading it in the long run, do use spot corrector or whitening concentrate on the area.
HTH
jane iredale coverup is a godsend!
the best way is to use coverup
and usin a face wash
face mask
etc.
Bare-Minerals is the best stuff i know!
It works like magic. Its great for your skin, it won't clog pores or anything.
It covers blemishes amazingly!
I'm a teen so i have many blemishes myself, and this stuff makes me really happy and lot less self conscious.
